Global Fund for Democracy is a proposed international philanthropic initiative dedicated to strengthening democratic institutions, protecting fundamental human rights, and empowering independent civil society organizations.

Transparency, Governance & Nonpartisanship
Transparency
We intend to publish how funds are raised, allocated and evaluated once programmes are approved and operating.
Governance
The initiative is subject to approval and oversight by the board of Global Fund for Assistance Inc., with documented conflict-of-interest and grant review policies.
Nonpartisanship
We will not support or oppose any political party or candidate, nor fund partisan campaigning or lobbying.
The initiative is in a proposal stage. No grants are currently being awarded and no donations are currently being accepted.
